You will be in charge of:
  • Leading a team of 5-6 backend engineers;
  • Development and implementation of new functionality;
  • Development of the integration with 3rd party services;
  • Design development plan;
  • Support and refactor existing code.
  • Previous team management / team leadership experience;
  • Strong knowledge of Ruby, Ruby on Rails (4/5);
  • Object-oriented principles; Agile development; source code management tools (Git);
  • Database experience: SQL/PostgreSQL/MySQL;
  • Background processing (sidekiq);
  • Experience in building integration with 3-rd party
  • services;
  • Ability to write clean, reusable and tested code;
  • Code testing (rspec/rswag etc…);
  • Familiarity with shell environments;
  • Familiarity with JavaScript;
  • Refactoring skills;
  • Strong knowledge of web and development standards;
  • A passion for developing robust, high-quality code;
  • Intermediate spoken level of English and higher.
Some nice-to-haves:
  • NoSQL databases;
  • Experience with Sinatra/Express etc.;
  • Optimization SQL queries;
  • Experience with ElasticSearch;
  • Experience with GraphQL;
  • Experience with AWS services;
  • Experience with other programming languages.
